Just Plain Stupied

Dat's eggzakly why I quit carrying fire arms in my vehicles........could never decide which one to use.........

very true:icon_thumby: i like the axe though...most everyones afraid of a man with a gun, but when you see a pissed off guy walking up on you with a razor sharp fire axe they tend to worry alot even more so if they saw that old movie where charlie sheen was an axe mudering fireman.:icon_surprised:

excellent point......errr......edge

Ranger.....thanks again......
mufflers passing inspection?............
probably will pass (it's not any louder than a Mustang G.T....big LOL).....
Louisiana has some strict laws about GETTING yearly inspections, but an alligator can pass as long as it has a catalytic converter !!

EDIT: now to scrounge up the nerve to do that front bumper.......pics of the surgery later..........:bawling:

I know I'm a couple days too late but I ment how is your bike going to pass inspection when you pu the mufflers on the truck. was triing to be funny ha ha... Bumper looks good came out better than I thought it would!!!

Hey......anybody know of a good brand of A4LD pan gasket that is not made of solid rubber?????

LOL, I have a cork gasket and brand new filter & o-rings still in the shrink wrap that I would just tell you to take, but the cost to ship it may exceed the value of a new one. That Ford Gasket should fine though. Just make sure the pan lip is nice and flat.

Edit: Lookin' sharp!

Seen the original website, selling those kits a few years back. Still want to do it and will have the house paid off soon. But something I would like to know prebuying the kit (trying to find out/budget legal info), how is it licensed/titled?

Wondering if it is going to be a problem and really wouldn't want to find out by some cop slamming me up against a vehicle, claiming stolen plates.

Thanks and looks REAL good.

hahahahahahahahahahah i lol'd again

just dont post any lol'ing animal pics again and ill be ok

how is it licensed/titled

I guess it depends on the State you live in......

In Louisiana, if you go this route, it can be re-taxed & re-titled as a 2009 ASSEMBLED VEHICLE (and will have to pass ALL emissions tests & Safety tests(that's why I left EVERYTHING OEM including seat belts--basically I built a 1936 body around a dash, seat belts, electrical, chassis & drive train....

OR

Now I have the option of keeping the original title & plate....I bought a policy from one of those custom vehicle insurance companies last year before I started the project--you apply for a policy, send a copy of the original title, receipts of major purchases, photos/once you're accepted as the project progresses, send them up-dated photos of the project, etc. We have to have an up-to-date insurance policy on a vehicle with a license plate in La.). And, I'll have to pay La. state taxes on all the out-of-state purchases I made so the state will get their "fair share"......LOL

SO

Check with your State DMV & see what their rules are & get a copy so you can check off their list as you collect all your information ( I recently built a custom motorcyle & it took me 6 months to get a title because I didn't have a copy of the rules - they kept running me around to different state agencies until I had everything double-checked by each agency--good thing I took photos of the project & kept all my receipts!!!!!)

just dont post any lol'ing animal pics again and ill be ok
