Just Plain Stupied

O.K.......There's a little problem with the lower part of the license plate being hidden by the bumper----:annoyed:especially if you're a state trooper checking the expiration date stamped on the bottom right-hand corner of the plate:annoyed:

Sooooooo.......off with the bumper & out with the chop-saw......center section of bumper support is history......(kinda--I'll saw it in two & re-inforce the bumper support with them)

I notched the bumper suport..........

I'm really impressed the (nearly) finished product looks amazing. You started with
0012.jpg
and
Streetrod6.jpg
, combined the two and put in a lot of blood sweat and tears and made this:

.

You should be proud of yourself, that's a hell of a thing to accomplish in 9 months. Its easily one of the hottest looking Rangers I've ever seen.

Thanks Guys......I had to work on the harley & get it ready for the yearly state inspection......

I spent a couple more hours lining up the seams on the '36 Ranger & adding the Mini Mirrors......

Nice lik'n the mirrors, I see your workin on the wipers too, never relized how naked the back of the cab was I wish I could do some custom interior for ya. Looks good none-the-less keep up the good work!!

BTW your going to have trouble passing inspection with the mufflers on the truck:icon_confused:

Ranger.....thanks again......
mufflers passing inspection?............
probably will pass (it's not any louder than a Mustang G.T....big LOL).....
Louisiana has some strict laws about GETTING yearly inspections, but an alligator can pass as long as it has a catalytic converter !!

EDIT: now to scrounge up the nerve to do that front bumper.......pics of the surgery later..........:bawling:

Living in Louisiana, I kinda hadta put it on to keep the parking-lot-bumper-car-ladies from crunching the front fenders & the grill, since it's gonna be a daily driver..........

Other than that, I liked it a lot better without the bumpa.....but dats life.........

I still gots to connect all the lites to the Ranger wiring harness & a few other ends&odds.......

EDIT: Day-lite picture.....

Hey......anybody know of a good brand of A4LD pan gasket that is not made of solid rubber?????

I'm about to blow a gasket replacing the rubber one's that start dripping (apparrently for the fun of it!!!!!!)

looking good. the bumper isnt tooo bad.

Yep......no bumpa is betta.....but.....it looks o.k. in person....LOL......

use lucas trans stop slip/stop leak in your tranny. works good.

I put some Lucas in a few months ago after adjusting the bands & it shifts like NEW......but thats when the pan gasket started leaking & I've tried everything I know replacing the leaking gaskets.....

I finally went to the Ford Dealer & bought one of their "Gold-Plated-Cork Gaskets"....I'll install it to-nite......
