my friend gave me a set of alpine type s 6x9s and decided to put them in my truck today and figured i would paint the speaker grills while i had it all apart

you need to celan your truck....lol...install looks nice tho.

you probably could just use krylon fusion (but black can)

I've used this stuff on my grille and it looks nice. I actually got a couple cans still I think I'm gonna go give this a try lol

did you do any prep?

i used DupliColor Vinyl & Fabric Paint i prepped it by roughing p the surface with a 3M 07447 Scotch-Brite General Purpose Pad and then wiping it down with wax and grease remover, and then painted it
