Will this tool box fit my truck?

88 ranger xlt 2.9L 4x4..

guy who is selling it on craigslist says it is 61x20... 11 inches deep.


I have a topper, so I can't really measure it that easily..
Anybody have a site for the bed size, etc?

Obviously the depth will fit though.

thats for a full size truck so it wont fit in a ranger. its too long

hmmm... have measured the bed in my 1983 Ranger a few times and it is 5 ft. (60 inches) wide. my new topper measured 60x73 inches and fits fine. can't figure out why that tool box won't fit? make sure where he is measuring it. if it's at the top, it should set on your bed rails easily enough.

i measured, and it should fit. it's going to be tight (but that's the point so it doesn't slide around)


going to buy it here soon.. it locks, and he has both keys.. so this is exactly what i need.

going to keep a tool kit back there, my jack and tire iron, etc etc.... will be really nice since i only have a standard cab, and the back shelf will soon be taken up with a sub, amp, and hopefully some 6x9's in boxes that match as well.

no problem really.

i mean it's not exactly accurate with the topper on measuring..

but it's 61 inches wide at the widest, and the actual part that fits in my bed is 54 inches.



pretty dang positive that it measured right, and will fit.


i am pretty excited that i got it.. i think 70 bucks is really reasonable for it.

it locks, so that's awesome. black diamond plate he said.. so i assume it's like the hard plastic or whatever... which seems like it'd be plenty durable...
