I have asked a lot of people. they all said that the fuel pump was not working right. I have put 2 new fuel pumps on it in the last month. its still doing it. what is my problem. someone please help. I dont know what else to do.

how do you know there is gas in your oil?

the last two times I canged the fuel pump I had to change the oil also. you can pull the dipstick out and see where the oil ends and gas begins and you can rub the oil off and smell the gas in it

Just Curious

How did you conclude the fuel pump was at fault, when you replaced it earlier?

I had alot of people tell me it was the fuel pump that was causing it, well ive replaced it twice. and its still doing it. so it couldnt be the fuel pump. its a manual pump on the side of the motor and its pumping the fuel into the oil pan

If you have trouble starting, then the flooded engine will allow gas to go into the cylinders; other than that, I don't know.

the engine is not flooding, its just pumping gas into the oil pan. they told me it was the bendix in the fuel pump, but as I said I have changed it twice and it is still doing it.

Cap it and go electric frame rail mount.

I really dont want to go through that much money and trouble. it didnt start doing it until i changed the carborator. could it be in that?

check the power valve in the carb. if that leaks, it will
let all the fuel in the float bowl into the motor when
you shut it off. there is a hose on the chamber.
disconnect that right after you shut it off. there
should be no fuel in there.

ditto...very unlikely it is the fuel pump...the cam exposed to the oil and the diaphragm against the fuel are well separated. If the 'leak' was on the low pressure side, you'd never get fuel to the engine. On the high pressure side you'd have a hose at 7psi.

Most likely if you have a carb, you a dripping in to the intake.
