throttle body spacer

so im looking at a f150 with a 302 and i see on the web that alot of them have throttle body spacers, i wasjust wondering what the point of these were ?thanks

google throttle body spacers and then you can read all the bogus claims that the manufacturers are making about how they will bump up your horsepower, increase your gas milage, AND make your car handle better! its all bs, its the same kind of thinking that makes kids bolt these fart cans on their cavaliers thinking their going to gain huge HP#s.

Are you talking about the EGR spacer?
