throttle cable issues on v-8 swap

cable is to short on my 94 v-8 swap. any suggestions as to what cable from a junkyard donor will work?

Could do what I did:

throttle cable issues on v-8 swap

I cut the throttlebody tab off of an F-150, turned the throttlebody 90 degrees, and bolted them together.

Unless you are going carb, then it's a little different.:dunno:
 
I used the stock Ranger cable from my '97 4.0 truck, on a typical Mustang EFI intake, no problems at all.
 
Just another option from what I did. The cable that comes with it is a tight fit and doesnt want to slide if you have to make any tight turns or loops but you can get a size smaller and its perfect.

thats what i used, and modified a tv cable from an F-150 and ran that from my peddle to my AOD, (found it on RPS).
running a 67 intake and 2150 carb

that spectra cable is avalible at your local parts store to, bought mine at checkers auto parts(same company as o'rielly's), but advance auto, and autocrap(zone) should have it.
