In the 92' supercab, I have an aftermarket igniton package which includes a coil, starter box, and distributor.

For some reason, the injectors are not working(my brother is in the process of getting a injector light to test it). The relays work, the fuel pump works, but the injectors are not.

The spark plugs are dry with no odor also. He thinks that the computer isn't getting the signal from the distributor that it's trying to start, thus not opening the injectors.

Do I have to use the stock distributor, or is there a way to wire it in to the aftermarket one?

sounds like you are correct and the pcm isnt getting the signal to fire the injectors. You dont need a test light to tell if they are working, have someone crank the engine over with your finger on the injector, you should be able to feel the solenoid pulse

Yeah, you got it. Turns out the distributor is the wrong model(it's for carbed 302's I think).

The coil and box work fine, but I'll just have to refurbish the old one, that's all:icon_thumby:
