Tow Hooks

where do you guys recommend to mount front tow hooks on my 2003 ranger edge?

Do 2wd Rangers even have the crossmember that the tow hooks are bolted to? If they do, there should be holes.

The Edge sports the 4x4 frame so the holes should be there.

well if their are i couldn't find em, could you guys point me in the right direction to find them or are they somewhere inbetween the front license plate, i did find one hole there but it looks like its part of the rad support?

I know mine is a 2000 but to my knowledge it should be the same? Sorry I couldnt get any better pics, my skid plate was completely blocking the veiw.

Finially found the picture (poor of course) of the ones that came on my 4x2 2001 Edge. Measured the 2000 and '05' 4x4's and the centers of the hooks are both about 17" center to center, just on either side of the plates. If you got a buddy with a late model 4x4 or live near a Ford dealer, check out the location on the frame rails. Sure ought to be holes there. On the blue Edge, you can just makeout the bar this side of the plate. Sold truck so this is all I have.

kool thanks man yeah that was the spot i was thinking of mounting mine but the problem is that i have hooks not loops so i have to making a mounting plate that extends out 6 or 7 inches then mount the hooks on there so i can actually have some room to attach to, it also keeps people from walking to close to my trust grill hehehe...
