Here is mine I did today. It was on my spare hood. But if it helps I'll do something better and more pleasing on my good hood.

go figure we can fix the trucks with a little home depot rigging. ive got a isuzu rodeo brush guard welded to my ranger looks good but i gotta rig up a skid plate

Yup and it's hard to keep the temps down to 210°. Yes I have a 4 core rad and the electric fan is going all the time.

shoulda got regular floor registers.... then you could close em when it rains. lol, ive seen worse mods than that though! a lot worse!

both mods were done by my older brother when he owned the truck.

I used a piece of 1/4" rope to hold the front shock onto the lower stud when it broke off at the threads. I looped around the shock body, and then around the radius arm. Left it for about 2 months before I cut off what was left of the old stud and had a bolt welded on. No pics.
