Hey all,

My B2 has a noise that I thought was associated with the U-joint rear driveshaft. I took that shaft out and put in the old CV joint shaft and the noise is still there..

It is ONLY when applying the brakes. It's a clunk, clunk, clunk that is dependant on the wheel speed. I have pulled the brakes apart and I can't see anything wrong. I thought it was the d/s because right after I replaced the u-joints it went away for a while..

No it is back. Any ideas?

Sounds like your rear drums may be out of round. Have them turned or replace them if they are worth turning.
