No, the previous owner refilled it about 4 years ago and it's still blinking like brand new! Sometimes I'll drive with the right turn indicator on for miles just for the hell of it!

I think i did present a reasonable argument on why you shouldn't believe wht they tell you (did you already buy the wires...... I bet you also bought the $35 spark plugs that claim to give you 50% better mileage and last for 1 million miles).......... but if you want me to I can ask my uncle (who teaches Physics, chemistry, algebra through calculus, and it the principal of his school............ or I could rely on my own electronic principals training from the Airforce to tell me 0 ohms is a physical impossibility.

I'm not sure if you guys took any electrical courses during your educational career, but i have. I know for a fact, there is NOTHING in this universe that is 100% effecient, nothing. Your going to be losing energy somewhere, either through energy changing forms ( thermal to electrical, kinetic to thermal, etc), or through current flowing through a wire. There is no wire on this planet that can be 100% effecient, meaning the same energy going in is the exact same comming out, without some other source of energy. And if there is I think general electric would of been on that quite some time ago.

I had every intention of leaving this tread to die out, but curiosity got the better of me. First of all, let me apologize to all of you as I did not mean for this to turn into a pissing contest. I AGREE, it is impossible to obtain a true zero ohm in any type of electrical wire, but as "racinranger" said, there is a SAE standard as I said. And no, I do not work for Granatelli, or any other parts manufacturer, performance shop or ANYTHING auto related (I build airplanes for Boeing). My purpose of the posts that I have made was to share info with what I found was new to me and therefore might be new to others. My Ranger is the best vehicle I have ever owned and have plans for it. So if I seemed to be selling something, or defending the undefensible, I apologize for my zeal! Thanks Guys.

Technically if they are claming 0 Ohms resistance and the SAE standard is 0.99 per foot then they are somewhat correct. They could be 0.97 for all we know. But common sence and rules of rounding up still apply in the math world. So if they plan to advertise 0 they should atleast provide a .XX after it, or call it 1 ohm/foot.

So I could go spend several hundred $$$$ and get me some sweet super-duper iridiated (or did I mean irradiated ) spark plugs, 0-ohm 1st-law-of-thermodynamics-proof wires, and a 60-freaking-thousand-volt coil and then'd I make HUGE HP and TORQUE gains of gaaaaaassssssssppppppppp.............................

Oh wait. I could have supercharged or turbocharged it for what I just spent on a tune up. And I would have doubled the power.

Sorry. I just have to make fun of this rediculous, overpriced, bolt-on crap advertised to people that are clearly too incompetant with a wrench to figure out real performance, but are willing to try to make up for it with spending money.

BDAB: I couldn't figure out what or where you thought that until I reread some old posts. What I guess I should have said was I have heard and read a lot about the OHV and little about the SOHC. No insult meant (and I'm still not pimping products.). I owe you one of these.

BDAB: Thanks; it would seem that because of my inexperience with computer forums, and how to "talk" to others thru a keyboard I show what a fool I can be. Its like being on a phone before the days of Caller ID - you don't think before "talking." In anycase, I'll try to act with more reason and common sense before posting.
