What in the hell are you doing racing naturally aspirated 4 bangers anyway? They are never worth the time, fuel or the chance of getting a ticket. They'll never give up either, no matter how badly or many times they loose.

because the fast and furious came out today and us chevy guys gotta prove that v8s are better than any 4-banger. unless its turbo with 1000 psi revving to 10 grand lol

2.3Ts can hang for sure. There's some really fast turbo 4 bangers out there.

If I had a 305 I would be curious on how to held up to a 5.0L Mustang.

you gotta understand theres history between me and the guy I was racing. When I had my 92 he always talked smack so we lined behind my house (i got a sweet straight away about 1/2 mile long) and I was beeting him until I slammed it into 4th and snapped my rear spring hanger. So my rear end squatted and my tires rubbed and he passed me. So he thought his stock 1.8 in his 4 door Civic could compete....he lives 5 doors down and he hasn't said anything since i spanked him so I think he gets it.

My 305 was rated stock at 165 hp and 255 torque...if i remmeber correctly. I think most 302s are like 180 - 190 hp and about 230 otrque right? I've never put mine against a 302 yet but I would expect me off the line and then them catching up. I also got Edelbrock cam, heads, and intake so I'm guessing round 200 hp and not sure on torque...but shes getting dynoed soon so I can get true numbers for you.

Not a barn burner by any means but shes fun.

hahaha no it snowed and im lazy so i got all the piping and mufflers in the garage....im goin 2.5 all the way along the frame and exit in front of each rear tire...maybe this long weekend?
