Noise from rear end

Last time I had my rear end apart I noticed some rust on the carrier. So I added several cups of sand to the gear oil, figuring the abrasive properties would clean the rust off.

After a few hundered miles my rear sounds like a hellicopter. Did the sand somehow damage it??

Lol. This actually seamed pretty tame.

Awhile back I read about some guy who flushed his Cobra engine out with water to "clean it". The engine of course siezed.

Kinda like the port and polish with sand while the engine is running type of thing.

I think it just ran out of blinker fluid and the muffler bearings seized.

This site should have all the good stuff to get everything going again

I guess the day's not done yet but I don't get into this crap much. Someone should've posted the pic of the welded diff that was floatin around Pirate. Guy said he welded his diff and couldn't move, the pinion and ring gear were welded together haha

Someone started a thread on an Audi forum claiming to have done that. I couldn't believe how many people believed him.

Well...I have not changed the air in my tires for awhile. It could be that.

I'm also low on wiper-washer fluid.
