Megasquirt V2.2 with the MS1-extra code loaded. I am very happy with the MS so far.
 
that will produce a MASSIVE amount of torque that might twist your frame if you didnt reinforce it any... if I were you tho i would make a couple triangular members going across the frame for strength. but i do love the big block its a beast!!!!
 
WOW !! Have you dyno'ed that thing ? Wonder what kinda HP you're putting out.. Any have a link of the diff engine block sizes ford produces/ or produced ex. 289,302,351 etc? Just wanted to get an idea of small black v8 , big block etc.. I ASS U ME that 289's are v6's? Thanks.
 
I'd NEVER paint it. And I'd get a set of stock rims and have them professionally widened and throw them on there to really sleep :)

Haha I like that idea.. I would think it would be hard to make that thing be quiet though. Unless you say "ohh just an exhaust leak" :icon_twisted:

Back in my dumber days me and a buddy did this to his built firebird. It had a built 406 sbc and dynoed close to 600hp and he used to like to screw with people so we drilled a few holes in the exhaust so at idle it would sound like dog shit. Conned alot of people into racing that thing lol we always would say "Its a rusted Forumla 400 how fast can it really go? You ooughtta give us a head start" lol. Always had a big problem hookin even with 12 inch wide rear tires.. I cant imagine how you do it.

Not nearly enough. lol They are 255/60-15's.

Currently, they are about the only wheel I have found that can tuck inside the fender and not rub anywhere. I am currently narrowing a diff housing so I can run a more 'normal' offset wheel.
 
I don't know. If I do anything, I will just widen the wheel tubs over flush with the frame rail. Surprisingly, narrowing the diff just 1" per side is going to help tremendously with wheel fitment, so maybe I won't have to chop the fenderwells.
