I'm sure most of you have heard about these things by now. Apparently these little beads have some type of chemical coating that turns into the date rape drug GHB when ingested. It didn't suprise me when I found out they were manufactured in China.

Shouldn't there be a label that says for "3+", "for childern 3 & older".

As for the whole China deal. It has gotten so bad, that customers are now asking to make sure that the tires I put on are not made in China. Warning, PrimeWell are found to be made in China. No other tire mfg. found to do so also.

Had to replace tail light bulbs for a freind today. She got Sylvania 2057LL 2 pack. I tried to put them in and the glass was flared out too large at the base and they wouldn't go into the socket enough to twist into the retaining notches. On the back of the pack it said "Made In Slovakia". Took em back to Autozone and explained the problem jokingly adding "got any made in China ones?" He brings me some Sylvania 2057 standard bulbs that look like they will work. Bring em back, put em in, all is good. The pack isn't marked for point of manufacture so I pull one back out. Sure as hell stamped on the side of the base "Made in China"

Money sure does talk. Thats why of all tires I sell, 50% will always be Firestone/Bridgestone. Everyone likes to get tires as cheap as they can get them. As they say, "So much is riding on your tires".
