Will i need to take off the hole cab or just jack it up a little, or what? Any suggestions or ideas?

If you got a "kit" then it should have instructions.
But if not, you only have to jack it up. Just enough to get the 3" block in there.

I found your wording funny though. How do you "apply" a body lift? :thefinger:
ah, just givin' ya a hard time!

I think theres a pretty good article in the tech library. Not a large fan of body lifts but thats because they put a $h!t ton of salt on the roads up here.

i don't mean to pry but why would a bodylift make a difference with salt its going to rust out the under side of the cab no matter what. If any thing you would be able to clean the under side of the cab easier with the lift.

It would probably be a PITA to get the body mounts off.

Now that you mention that when I changed beds I had trouble removing one of the spacers from the bed because the bolt had rusted out but it came off the frame Ok.

I don't know why it does that but it competely wrecks trucks in vt
