problem with my rear drivers door

I have a 99 ranger XLT step side. I cannot get the door open. I don't use it much but would like it to work. It always stuck a little but not this bad.

can you give us more details? how does the handle feel? pullling it all the way and its not working or only part way and it is stopping?

How often did you use the door in the past? The latch may be seized up. Try spraying some Pb'laster or wd-40 on it.

handle works fine top latch seems to open. It is, I believe the bottom latch. I don't use it much. It keeps the door from closing all the way now and I am getting a wind noise.

its possible the rod it bent inside, My friends '05 had that problem. Pull the door panel off to verify.
