2008 FX4 Ranger Rebuild Project

Im thinking that the doors front and rear from a 2000 and up ranger will fit your 08. the beds should be about the same not sure about the body lines for the bed. the cab looks similiar to the 2000 and up cabs, again they have changed some little stuff here and there. I would try to get parts from another ranger that is relativly close (by year) to your 08 just to be sure.

get a 95-97 ranger and swap the interior, dash, wiring, and all into it(just use the 95-97(ttb) 4.0 engine mounts) or a 98+ ranger(to keep the same suspinsion), be a nice ranger when u get done

At the risk of revealing just how much of a n00b I am, what does TTB stand for?

I have to make a comment on the picture of the front bumper area. When I worked at the FCSD in Livonia Michigan in the catalog dept (5 years ago). Part in concern you may have is, the front bumer crush zone area of the frame.(wher bumper connects to frame) That front part of the frame that has the waves in the frame, once crushed you can not pull back in shape. I can not remember but some vehicles Ford does not offer that part only if you buy a frame, but then some vehicles they did offer a kit for these. They would have to be welded on and they connected a little past the motor mounted I believe.

I am just saying check on this cause if they do not offer a kit, then you may need to buy frame to repair that area properly.

If you check on it let me know the answer, like I said its been 5 years and my memory is foggy....

twin-traction beam, its the suspension the 4wd ranger rangers use from 83-97, basically the 95-97 is the same body from the firewall back and interior wise as the 2008 ranger, minus the wiring, and has the TTB, which would allow you to damn nere bolt in a dana 44 from an early broncoif you wanted to and has better lifts if you keep the TTB suspension but the 98+ plus rangers are the same from the radiator support back , even have the same frame you have know,

Stick that dude on a frame jig, it doesn't look straight.

That truck got worked, should be a fun resto project...

You should skip the OE replacements panels and look into some fibreglass...

+2 Looks twisted and bent in the center. it almost looks like the one i saw a couple weeks ago in a wreck. swarved to miss a mini van that went left of center after losing a wheel . rolled several times in the dich and came to rest on an electic cow fence had golf clubs in the back of it they where scatered hundreds of feet in all directions van just went into field unscathed.

At least you've got some nice seats.

That truck looks like it got its ass handed to it. It should be a fun, but long restoration project.
