Anyone know how to blackout the headlights on an 02 ranger? Or does anyone know of a place that has instructions on how to do it?

Thanks for your help,

I'd get the covers so in case you ever change your mind you can take'em off.

check out the build that " rwenzing " did on here he took his lights apart and just painted them so shoot him a pm and he should be able to tell you more on how it's done..

here's the truck.......

Blackout headlights

bake at 350 degrees for 6 hours or until the little red flag pops out...oh wait...:D

i know they go in the oven to melt the glue that holds the lense halves together. temperature and length i dont know...but im sure rwenzing could help, as mentioned.

If you do this you should take pictures of the whole process, maybe put it in the tech library.

I'm not smart enough to think of that lol.

I once heard a tip that some of the cheapest and most widely available tinting spray paint is available at hobby shops, made for tinting model cars. Just a heads up.

irishblessing::::: lmctruck.com has headlight covers and things specific to rangers. a good little site for some ranger specific stuff...
