I want to get a 91-94 and want to clear 35s.. I've had an 86 BII with 3" suspension lift and 33s and an 89 Ranger with 3" body lift and 33s. Will 4" suspension lift and 2-3" body lift and 35s look rediculous? the 5.5" is kind of outrageous priced but I do realize you get what you pay for so the quality is probably good.

I drive one and I love it. If u got any questions let me know!!!

saw one recently that needs a trany, 93 I think, otherwise in nice shape was thinking of making an offer, a 2 door sport stock, had a 95 explorer as a daily driver that had every problem in the book, but I think the earlier Explorers were made better, we had a 92 that got totaled but was great while we had it for 2 years.

I was looking in Las Vegas Craigslist abit ago and there was a 91 or 92 Explorer I think with bad trans the ad said will take anything, they just wanted it gone,, So if anyone near Vegas looking for parts or a fixer there you go,

do they come witha 5 speed.. i hate autos. they bore me.

they do come with manual 5 speed and some came with manual t-case as well although hard to find now.

A4LD is not that dificult to fix and has plenty of upgrades available...

oh yeah... Skyjacker makes a pretty nice 6" lift... for a Ranger but you can use it on the "X" - just flip the rear springs over the axle. That's my set-up right now.
