Any advice is appreciated
Heres my truck. A 2002 fx4 ext cab. Right now its on 31x10.5.15s and I cranked the torsion bars.

I've got plenty of stuff I plan on doing, but right now my priority is wheels. I can sell the ones I have now, and i have close to $600. I have a buyer for the tires at $400 and I'm not sure what I'll get for the wheels but hopefully another $400.

With this budget in mind, what do you guys think i should do? I don't want to go for all looks if I can afford to not. I wheel as hard as my truck will let me, but I dont think I'm gunna be able to afford anything in the way of suspension.

what about this, 32x11.5x15 BFG A/T with 8 or 10"x15 black steel wheels. then flip the stock shackles and put fiberglass fenders on the front.

fenders-500$?
wheels and tires- like 800$ if i buy them used

Ive got a bunch of questions. If anyone could help me out and answer some let me know. thanks

I sure hope those tires have no tred left on them $400 BFG's!:icon_surprised:

not to rain on your parade or anything but you should lift it correctly the first time because you for sure have the perfect truck as a start. The T-bars being tightened, and fiberglass flared fenders are going to make your truck look like a mallcrawler, which it shouldnt be considering it is already equipped with the most important feature. Used tires and rims sounds like you could run into trouble if you buy truck rims and tires because they could already be severely used. Good Luck:icon_thumby:

They have almost all their tread on them.

And I agree about lifting it correctly. thats why im saying if i don't have the money i dont think i should lift it at all. And I want to loosen my torsion bars back down which is a main reason for the higher fenders.

It does have a twin.. lol sorry couldent halp myself.

Well id leave the alcoas, it already makes the truck unique, go get some 32" s
or 33" s leave the t bar crank or dont and go save up for a lift, something like this maybe..:D

Having a truck similar to yours i know what it can do, hell id even suggest to just leave it..

I'd go with a bodylift and 33's on 15x8 wheels.

I forgot that the t-bar setup is ridiculous in price to lift.

Right. For what he wants to spend, I'd say bodylift. If money is no object, then I'd say get a Superlift kit.

but a lot of people say to steer clear of body lifts if you plan on offroading...
