Well, if you're trying to break the thing, I would say 1st time out. Anything can be broken if you beat on it enough

15-17 means alot less sidewall and airing down wont be as beneficial.

i want to be that guy. well, unless it was his mechanical error that caused the failure of the rockwells.

We get the idea already. You're the most hardcore person on this website, and possibly the entire internet.

i just enjoy a good dent or 2. i doubt a guy on 33s wins the hardcore award. maybe the stupidity award once in a while. it would be a hard time breaking rockwells.

I took some pretty damn gnarley hill climbs and obsticles when my truck was stock IFS on 35x15.5s, Chuck. Even with only 4.10 gears and a 3.0. I haven't broken a damn thing. Including the tranny.

Don't you know man? It's all about technical wheeling with smaller meats now.

Good lines and the right mixture of brains and balls will get you, or anyone further then fuckin one tons.

adam i agree. we will see, the d35 mite still have a long life under the b2 ahead of it. but i will be welding it and i will be putting 36s or 37s on the b2 with a 4liter at some point when the cash comes available.

running locked (or in my case welded) is a entirely different situation than running open. you will know soon enough.

Is anyone in here using Aussie locker or Powertrax locker for the front diff? If so how does it perform when in 2wd when turning?

I have HEARD from others they work just fine. not to mention if you have a 97 or prior ranger you have/ can install manual hubs and the front axle will be completely disconnected from the tires in 2wd. so there wont be any reason for the aussie to make noises.

It's a 99 with the vacuum hubs removed using Explorer hubs.
