16" wheels on my Edge

I just bought a 2004 Ranger SuperCab Edge with 16" aluminum wheels with 235/70R-16 Tires. The wheels have Ford caps so I'm assuming they are optional Ford wheels but I can't find any reference to them on this site. Can anyone help fill in the blanks? Thanks.

16" rims aren't uncommon on the upgraded rangers such as the 4x4 or the edge, are you referring to the Alcoa rims?

You're right, they are the Alcoa aluminum rims. Thanks for all the help. I'm just learning about the vehicle after buying it on Friday. It's a 4X2 with the single CD player, fog lights, and the 5 speed automatic. In California, unlike many states, registering a used out of state truck(originally registered in Hawaii) is somewhat of a hassle. In addition to smogging the vehicle, I had to get it weighed at a certified weigh station(don't ask my why?) and the local DMV had to verify the Vin#. Thanks again.

If they give you shit for smogging it then have someone do it that will pass it for an extra couple of bucks, just ask around up there cuz that's what my buddy did and his truck came from maine lmao

Fordboi thanks for the offer but it passed smog with no problem. I've heard that Hawaii smog certificates are even tougher than California so it had to be kept clean to drive in that state. Now, under California rules, I won't have to smog it again until 2011.
