I have successfully turned a Nissan owner into a Ranger owner.

My brother finally decided to get rid of his POS Nissan Hardbody, and get into the Seat of an '01 Edge.

Specs: 2001 Ford Ranger Edge, 4.0 Automatic, 4x4, Supercab. That's all I know so far.

It has little to no rust just some speckling on the frame and exhaust (step up from his 90% rust Nissan) and it's a beautiful red with a black cap.

He said it's got just over 100,000 on it, for $5500. Blue book puts it at around 9.

The guy was getting rid of all his vehicles, the ones he doesn't have gone by next week are going to auction. Low prices on everything.

I'm going to go with him to look at it when he goes to pick it up, he can still back out of the deal if he changes his mind. Is there anything we should look for? successfully

Well, I should have went with him. He was wrong on the engine it's a 3.0.

Anyway, he picked it up yesterday. REAL nice truck. A few bits of damage on the paint but otherwise it's all good. Surprised him by showing him that he had two rear half doors, he's got a lot to learn.
