Ugh, workin the weekend

Anyone else workin the weekend? 4-12:30am tomorrow and 12-6pm sunday....woohoo.....i love FedEx

yea this is just a temporary job (through a temp agency) after i got laid off from GE (also as a temp) and while im waiting to hear back about when my interview is at Rich Technologies to be a cnc machinist. but i loved having my weekends to me and the lady

Always work the weekends, regular shift. got so I wouldnt want it any other way. LOVE having 4 weekdays off, when everybody else is stuck at work. REALLY great during the summer.

see im the same way, ill work my balls off during the week, i guess going to college 3 days a week and going to work after that is somewhat similar...not really, i just like saturday and sunday to me and the lady when shes up from NH

BUT....i forgot to mention that there is ONE and only ONE exception to the rule as far as working weekends....i work for Central Maine Pyrotechnics....KABOOM

I want a job where i could blow shit up and not get arrested for it ................ filled a ballon with acetylene once and taped a 6' piece of toilet paper to it (I drove a tow truck then ..... the body shop guy used to get me into all kinds of trouble) ........ lit it out side...... had a 6' ball of flame and a big boom ...... 2 min later the state police came over to check on us.

yea fireworks kicks ass...especially since theyre illegal here in ME and i get to play with REAL ones and get paid for it. not that yuppie stuff from stores around NH. the moneys decent if you dont use your vehicle lol. $50 for a "helper" (unlicenced) and $100 for the "supervisor" (licenced). i should be licenced by mid april since i'll be 21 april 1st. workin a show next saturday as a matter of fact at Mt. Abram

Part of being young. we all did it. 'cept me, I peeled logs cause the nearest minimum wage job was 10 miles away. got $40 a log.
