I read on that tech right up that I cant use my foglight valance if I do the body lift...is that still true if I change my front end to the 01-03 style...cause I'm in the process of changing my front end and I dont want to waste money on the foglight valance if I dont have to

no you can keep it. the only problem you run across is the tow hooks they get covered when you put the body lift on. ive seen guys just simply take a look at it and neatly cut the valance to make the tow hooks work and keep the truck looking good. another idea is fabbing up a completely new winch bumper they are fairly straight forward if you can weld. but if the stock look is more your style trimming the valance is your best bet. if i can ill get a picture of my buddy trents ranger its an 04 with the 3 inch body lift and he did the trimming im talking about. keep an eye on this post ill try to track him down and get you a pic
