Let's see what's out there....

Well right now my Ranger is stock height...... Or are ya talkin about my Chevy... That's far from lowered...:icon_confused:

I think he meant Crazythingsido2. Not sure though.

It's an easy mistake for a newer person to think someone who quoted someone is the OP. I guess that they don't see the little square and where it says "Quote from...etc"

HEHE

why yes!

lol, i mainly came over here to ask some questions about a motor swap, and then i seen the "lowrider sectin"

oh and thats brushed on filler primer on the ford part. its all sanded now! :)

i love that ford emblem. you dont know its there and then it is haha. its a great mod. but yeah theres not much in here for the lower crowd, so this is where i asked for my rear axle help

yea, im prolly swappin to the 8.8 with discs when i do my motor swap!

i was thinking the same thing but no one told me if they were the same width and im almost rubbing the bed sides as it is now

The Gen III and up Rangers have a 2" wider rear end. The disks add even more IIRC. The shock mounts and springs all match up the same though. I have a GenII rear in my '96 and won't go back. I am close to rubbing too, but different rims/backspacing can fix most problems.

they say that they are 1.5" wider than ours crazy, we would have to have them shortened, but id do it for the rear discs

the exploder rears are about 3" wider than your rear, the gen III drum brake rears are 1.5" wider.
check the tech section out, it has a very good section on rear axles. :icon_thumby:
