starting to look for tire places on line....looked at tirerack.com...

so here are my questions...
1)what do you think of the WC or the toyo?
2) what are some other tires out there?
3)where can i get tires off the net..
4)i remeber reading a year or more back about a place that sold re-treads cheep and for the price they were a good tire?...any ideas?

I just got a set of National brand, Commando LTR tires on my Explorer. I'm told they're bascially rebadged Cooper tires. I'm really liking them, they handle nice and are really quiet. http://www.nationaltire.com/catalog/tireDetail.asp?bySize=1&tID=534&tCatID=1&tSubCatID=11 They should be cheaper than others, since National is a private company that sells name-brand tires under their own name. I don't know how much mine cost because they were a gift from my uncle.
