Another example... Boggin, Koda, and Trucksgetdirty as well as a few others have all stopped posting over there because nobody even gave them much of a chance to start. It's sickening. This site is MUCH more friendly than that seemingly stuck up piece of somewhat useful (but mostly not) webspace.

i don't mean to offend, but a lot of people are annoyed by some of those who aren't contributing much tech and rbv advise to the forum.we all chitchat about unrelated stuff,some just do it more than others.i don't spend much time at the later model,2wd oriented rps either though.

(P.s. I'm still steamed about it. None of them believed me when I said the bible is the word of God .)

as far as RBV sites go, i'm a member of a few. probably forgot a couple too. while i'm mostly on BII.org, i bounce in here every once in a while. i remember this site when it first started, and i've been a member ever since. i've always enjoyed the "atmosphere" of this site and BII.org. those are the 2 i always come back to. yeah, the political and religious crap really annoys me sometimes. but every once in awhile i enjoy a good, peaceful, intelligent discussion of them. they usually get heated pretty fast, so then i just back out. no point getting riled up, so i look away. if we all thought the same, the world would be pretty dang boring.


i don't really agree with bashing other sites. if they are too "preppy", leave them to their own. if you feel the info is "inaccurate," don't follow it. that's the beauty of a computer, it only goes where you tell it to.


i will admit forum "attitudes" used to bother me. i've seen pages of responses to someone bolting on some clear turn signals (or something else pretty simple), while a thread on everything i've done to both my rigs gets next to nothing. but you know what? i remember when i first stepped up to 215/75 all terrains on my bronco, from the old 205/75 street tires. so simple, barely noticeable. but man, that was a great feeling. i had a little extra jump in my step for a solid month


and yeah, i get a little bored with the 'net from time to time. that's when i close the lid down on the laptop, and go do some project i've been procrastinating for way to long. got one lined up, so peace out until i drop in again at some other random time in some other random post.

Well, what are you talking about? Nobody gets banned out of hand here, unless you are spamming porn. We collectively ban about 50 porn spammers a week but there are no people banned for attitude problems like you are describing. We discuss it, but there are the moderator left wingers that prevent it. Don't be dramatic. Spit it out man.

Didn't they keep extending his ban after it happened? It was supposed to be 10 days.. then it was a month.. then three.. now its permanent?

trs is one of the most info-filled websites out there,
Im a member on Bii.org, and they dont have as accurate posts and , well, its just different, on this site I can ask a question, then go to a different forum for about 2 minutes and come back to the question I asked and it will probably have at least 5 answers

I'm looking for a second job right now. I work at hertz rentacar and am only getting 8 hours a week there now. I dont know about any of you guys, but $300 a month is not enough for me to live on. I pulled it off last winter, but it isnt gonna cut it this year. I'm also in school so my job search is a little harder because I have to find a job i can work nights and weekends.

I just picked up a second job. I work my first one during the day and a second one at night and weekends. I am putting in 60 hours a week. I am in a mad rush to pay off my debt so I can live without feeling like I owe everyone. (And I don't even have much debt)

Needless to say, I am not on much anymore.

That would be Boggin... IIRC he was unbanned for about a day before he really crossed the line.. but I could be imagining things.
