Lets see your bumpers

the girlfriends dad made this for me for i think $100...not completely finished yet...gotta add a skidplate in front still

JD, that bumper is almost exactly how I want to biuld mine!! On mine I want the ends (go around the side of the truck) to be closer together.

What size tube did you use? I can get a really good deal on 1 3/4" and am hoping that'll be good. My cousin/ uncle/ friend are going together to buy some, and get a discount at large quantities of the tubing, but they are getting 1 3/4".

dogboy, i think it was 1 7/8" tubing that we used for mine. and then 1/4" steel plate for the brackets.

Here's that Jeep bumper finished other than a winch.

This is my rear bumper...
l wanted something l could tow a 5x8 trailer with so this was my foundation which was attached to the frame and the bumper was built around it...

Here is one me and my Dad built with some sched 40 laying around and a cheap bender I bought at KMS Tools. Thought about adding a skid plate, truck is sold now though :'(.

Real simple, 2x2 square tube using stock bumper mounts with plate reinforcements. mesh grill welded in behind 3/4" round bar uprights. Obviously NOT setup for a winch. Just maximum clearance.

feels good to be almost done, i've kinda built it as i went. So it's taken longer than the ones where i plan them out first. mostly trial and error on this one. enjoy!
