07 grill interchangeability

I'm looking to customize my 07 Ranger to stand out in the crowd. One way to do that would be to change the grill. I found a grill for a 04-05 Ranger that I like(I like honeycomb mesh) do you think this would fit or be made to fit?

It looks identical in shape to my 07 xl grill and the mount holes on top appear to be in the same places too.

i was looking at the latest issue of lmc truck...they have alot of ew cool grillls for the 2001-07 rangers....there was a nice big crome crill that was kind of cool

They must be really new, lmctruck.com doesn't have ranger grills past '92.

I've wondered the same thing. I have seen a few 04-05 grills that I like but wasn't sure if they'd fit my 08. I've been to the pick-n-pull a few times but none of the newer 04+ Rangers yet. Hopefully somebody will know.

I've been comparing pics of an 04/05 grill to the one on my truck. It looks to be a direct fit. Not only is is the same shape as the 04 one, but on the top it is identical to mine. I will probably buy one i nthe near future and I will post my discoveries here. If anyone knows if the 04/05 grills will fit the 06 and newer trucks, please let us know. I'd rather find out if it doesn't fit now rather than after I buy one.

well, not sure on the interchangability, but I been lookin' at the new ones, and they do seem to be a near exact match. MadMod, what do you have currently? I might be interested in it if it's the horizontal bar, and your replacement fits.
