three factory holes in beds

What year was the start of the factory holes being put into the beds back by the tailgates. The holes are used for the bed extender option.Im needing a long bed thats in good shape & figured I would look for one with the holes already there.I drilled them into my 94 bed ,but figured ifI can find a newer bed with those holes & factory tie downs then its a plus.

yeh I've seen a 07 or 08 long bed as well.

whats the last year of the Mazda style long bed & would Warn fender flares for a ranger bed work on the mazda bed?

They recently brought them back in the last year or two, but for quite awhile you couldn't get one.
