ok i was out trail riding by my friends house and i took this really small trail thinking i would be ok. i found a ditch and here is what happend.

thing that sucked the most is there were no other trucks that could make it down and pull me out good thing for a tow strap tho

a little bit , kinda looks like his drivers tire is just barely on the gravel. also i do believe he's ONLY TWO WHEEL DRIVE, now i ain't no blasted rocket scientist, but it seems to me that if that was soft and he tried to back out with a locker he'd be double stuck, i could be wrong and if so someone else chime in there 0.02

yeah im kind of at an angle. what you cant see in the front is their is a ditch on the passanger side of the truck where that tire is in so the bumper is hitting the ground. well i did use the tow strap to lock the driver side back tire.

next time carry a small bottle jack and a small 2.5ton floorjack[ the kind ya throw behind the seat] if you have those, rocks and sticks will bee your best friend. i've been in a couple of situations where they made the difference between walking and driving. especially when driving over a blind kelly hump in the dark [ don't ask ] needless to say i don't have lockers in mine, yet i haven't been sstuck to the point that i couldn't get out with my trusty jack and a few strategically placed stumps.

well im always with my friends and they have full sized trucks so they can pull me out with no problem BUT me and one of my friends went over to one of his houses to get his 4 wheeler. i wraped the strap around the tire and tied it off to the frame so that the tire in the are would be locked. i really dont have much room behind my seats because i have a small sub in the back. lol ill just wait fir my friends to get a high lift jack

, if you don't carry a jack how do you change a flat tire, , oh, i get it, you wait for your friends, , what if you're by yourself? a bottle jack is like a $15 investment to keep from getting stuck if you aren't fortunate enough to have friends close at hand

That's one of the reasons I got my hi-lift and carry 4 short 4x4s in the bed. Even though I have 4wd, sometimes that doesn't matter and I like riding, not walking.
Gotmudd, I use an air compressor for my lug nuts since it takes almost no time to do when I go from my stock highway tires to my MTs. I tried to break the nuts free with a tire iron and can't do it. What I need to do is loosen them now and then use the impact wrench to get them the majority of the way tight then when my iron to tighten them the rest of the way so I can change a tire if needed.

Dude, thats hilarious! i got a 2wd an me an my buddies take it out every week and torture it on dirt roads an in the woods. We have determined that even tho i cant go thru mud worth anything, a 2wd rocks! Wish i had a 4wd tho

lol hell yeah these little 2wds are bad ass. my friends have 2 k1500's and i can go through anything they can but when i do im all over the place. lol they all even start screaming when they drive off road with me all they do is this

even your stock jack will work, all you have to do is get it under the axlle to lift it high enough to throw whatever is close to hand under the tire and crawl off of it. it's amazing what 3-4 inches of jack lift will accomplish. long as you can get both back tires firmly planted on something.
