ya.....but urs looks right....he butchered his bed, did the 63" springs go in backwards or something, i know ive done them before and had them stay in the wheel well no issues at all

No we did them right man,we put them farther back on purpose,it's called a stretched wheel base.Better departure angles,it's happening in the front now too.The cut job was temporary just so we could flex it.I think Friday we'll fix it.Oh also on these springs the pins are completly centered.

i was waitin on adam to come on here and say something, he never mentioned that he was doin that, so thats why i was scratchin my head
 
I personally think it looks good.Now he can say he drives a stretched 2000 ranger on 35's with 9inch and 44 and a lot of lift.It kinda started out as a mishap but we ended up just going along with it and it definatley has it's positives when wheeling.Ya the bed has to be cut but that's not a huge deal.I think adam even has plans for a flat bed in the future,or at least I think I remember him talking about it.

he may have been stretched but remember, stretching doesnt always = better... yes ur approach and departure angles are better, but now he can get high centered that much easier then before and put the driveshaft into harms way.
 
I completly agree but The taillight of this thing is at the top of my should and I'm 5'11 though,so high centering shouldn't be a huge problem.

The WB stretch was intentional. The comp cut needs mild revision.

It's my rig and I'll hack off what I want! It's bound to get kerfuckulated by the trails sooner or later. And honestly, I thought she had a little extra junk in the trunk. I like the comp cut.

Not many people have the sack to hack up a newer truck. Or an older truck. TTB, more like lol.

Sticking 31s on a stock truck is considered hard core now?
My condoms require more rubber then most TRS user's tires.

Adam, gotta remember im on the east coast, lol, so while its early enough for u to be interacting with real people, its late enough on a weekday for me to be sittin on my ass cause everyone works the next day.

That being said man, i dont have a problem at all with the sawzall work, i just think that solving one problem of approach and departure angles gave u another problem in high centering. I understand the the vehicle is at a decent height, but like mine high centering is a VERY real possibility, all it takes is for that one mound to be up to the frame level of the truck and for u to end up sittin on it.

and....theres beggining to be more people with a actual set of NUTS on here now, im startin to notice more SAS trucks runnin larger tires, i think they tie for the largest street driven ranger is between me and junkyard ranger right now.... puttin us both on 39.5 boggers

nice progress, cant wait to see it in action. Feel like welding some shock mounts and spring pads on my 8.8?? Seems you guys know what your doing in the fabrication dept.

hahaha, i needed a good laugh.

Yeah man, I'll weld em up.

High Country Performance 4x4 has a perch set for 16 bucks, well worth it. Better then trying to salvage old ones.

Our shock mounts are just square tube with a bolt through it welded to the axle. Not the best looking, but they work. And well. As far as shock mounts go.
