It's exciting to see interest pick up. I hope to do a post tomorrow outlining some of the things we can do over the weekend. I have mapped out a scenic drive. There are also a few interesting sites to visit in addition to the visitor center at the bridge. Let me grab my notes and finalize them. Then you can start thinking about what activities you are interested in.

I’m still hoping to work something out to at least pass through. I’ve got the week off and my son with me. We may head up towards DC early in the week then over that direction for a night. Total unknown because I wasn’t expecting to have him or take the week off until the end of last week.

Why do you need to thrash on your truck to be able to go camping with your friends??
