Wanted 3.0 ecm

Does anyone have a ecm for a 1997 ford ranger 3.0 5spd in thier stock piles?

Im looking for an extra to have. Here is the number F77F-12A650-TB.

Im aware its a slim chance, would like to ask.

did you try core or flagship 1?



they scour all of our junkyards now and get every eec4 and eec5 processor...

its pure luck to get one at my u pull yards.


speeduino is the way for the older rigs. i got lucky on a 4.0 application and the guy was not able to get one under 700... that is crazy. young bobs 300 6 was a pia as well.


speeduino will be the next setup.... for the eec rigs. the 6.0 and 5.3 we can still get cheap processors for.

are they stripping everything in your area too?

I haven't look at that place for ecms. I am looking for an oem one, not a crap shoot from the auto part store.

I've look on car-part and those are not available any longer. I found two on ebay..still undecided on those at the moment. Yards have been closing down in san diego for the past 8 years due to that idiot in Sacramento. When I was in redding for 4 years the only place there for anything for my 94 and now my 97 was a pull a part, and even at times that was scarce on rangers.

In other post when asked about tb and wc ecms..I found that there are differences between california emissions ecm and federal emissions ecm. Since my 97 is federal, I'm wanting to stay a federal ecm.
