*sigh* Here goes. This is not what we need to be worrying about. This is a very small part of a much bigger picture. AI is not being handled correctly. Chatbots are the joke of a generation, until you realize that your interaction with it is training its ability to understand human interaction. Artificial intelligence comes in different forms. Agentic AI is in its infancy right now, but will soon replace any job where thought is the primary function: doctors, pharmacists, attorneys, therapists, researchers, teachers.. anything with a defined framework. Think of it this way- if there's a course to teach you how to do something, LLM's have, are, or will be absorbing that information.
Auto manufacturers are changing the verbiage in the sales contracts from Owner to User. This means that, by giving them money for the machine, you agree to their T&C's. The trend towards electronic safety features brings people comfortably into letting the car do more and more. Regarding the Model Y, EverydayDriver said "it is obvious this car was not designed to be driven. The steering wheel is here because it's the law,". Vehicle ownership is being phased out. Another job on the way out is the manned taxi service. Right now, it's cars. Soon, it will be busses. Individual ownership of vehicles is headed towards the subscription model.
Meta, Google, and Microsoft are now military intelligence contractors. Their partnership with the US government has funded the development of weaponized artificial intelligence that understands human conflict resolution methodologies, maps battle strategies, and runs simulations similar to the movie War Games. Autonomous humanoid robot development advancements were a key aspect of the 2026 CES. China's development of - no joke - martial arts fighting robots, is a display of capability. In the US, Boston Dynamics has slowly been removing the wires from their robots, with videos of their robots jumping off of springboards. Elon Musk is developing humanoid robots in his Tesla factories, and estimates that fully functional robots will "cost about $20-$25k apiece once we're at a million units". It's one of Nvidia's goals to install their new Spark chip into these, as Jensen Huang said (incorrectly), "there are only a billion of us. But there will be billions of them (AI agents), and so that is what we want. We used to build computers for humans. Now, we build computers for computers".
The President has attempted to extend the FISA bill that would, among other things, allow the continuance of Section 702. Palantir and Flock stand to benefit from this, as they provide instant, AI-assembled data about citizens' movements via the 3rd Party Doctrine and the Good Samaritan law, allowing the government to circumvent the 4th amendment. We have become the product, and we are being phased out. The real conversation starts when we realize that there is nowhere to turn. There's no solution that helps US. Earliest estimations are within the 10-15 year range that AI will reduce the workforce by 70% worldwide. So, what do we do? I don't know. Is this the insane raving of a madman after piecing together aligned technologies? I hope so.
