Well, turned out I got a barium enema so they could check every inch of my intestine.
If your doc ever says you are getting one, tell them no thanks and you are leaving.
That was probably the worst thing I have ever had done.
Worse then wisdom teeth all being pulled at the same sitting, worse than skin cancer removal multiple times, worse then being in the ICU with covid for 11 days, worse than rolling your ankle and being in a boot for 6 months, worse then accidentally hitting yourself in the mouth with a 1 1/2" wrench while breaking a nut free, worse then accidentally grabbing the blade side of the sawzall with one hand and the trigger with the other. worse than anything I have ever had done.
It was not terribly painful but you get no anesthesia and you are awake the whole time because they have to ask how much air you can get pumped into your stomach till it's uncomfortable after they pump all the barium into your intestine. Then they have you laying in a table and roll you up and down, side to side, feet over head to get the barium into every crevice of your intestine. Next, you have to lay a bunch of weird ways, with a hose still in you while they take pics. Then after about 15 pics from every angle, they deflate the balloon holding the hose in your butt and drain what they can and then tell you to hit the restroom and drain for a while.
But the air they pumped into you doesn't drain so you feel like you are having stomach cramps and want to throw up until the air finally comes out. That's a long time because of how horrible you feel. They do give you a barf bag though so you can go home
