Correct. And AI doesn't do well with dirt. I'm not good enough with photoshop to render it myself.

That first picture looks like a few trucks I put bedliner on the flares and body line down. This one will get the same treatment probably next year. She'll be ready for a good clean up...

I guess then I'll be living the dream...

Good; shiny new looking modern truck with the retro scheme is a lot better than junking it up with "patina". Patina is earned, not faked.

I just put a CB in mine...I'm going to do the same thing (Bedliner on the flares and body lines), if not this summer, then next summer. I really like that look. You're already living the dream, my friend.

I would NEVER fake patina in real life...I just wanted to see what it would look like if I had earned the patina.

Also, I believe if the chrome trim could be sourced from a different vehicle, It might could be done. Maybe an older ranger, or f-100, or even a a galaxy or something. It might have to be cut, but it might work.
