Hi just sighed on, from NE where it snows and we use LOTS of salt. I own a 2000 ranger flex fuel four wheel drive it is pretty much pristine so from November to April it rarely leaves the barn. I'm a retired structural engineer and a shade tree mechanic since I was 12. I discovered that owning a ranger is a love/hate relationship... I'm sure many of you would agree!
I will try to post some of my experiences in hopes that I may be of help.

In my experience, you never love a Ford. You may not even particularly like them. But you do get attached to them, and that's just fine.
