Howdy all! I was here a long time ago, and now I'm back. I'm unsure I've logged in since 2014 (I think I made the account in high school back in 2009?), so I made a new account (couldn't remember anything about the old one).

I got another ranger that I'm rebuilding.

A 2006 Ford Ranger XLT 4wd, 4.10 open diffs and rust problems lol. Automatic.

I got it as a junker for $1700, runs and drives great. I am currently rebuilding the back of the frame and replacing the axle due to rust issues.

I'm excited to get it done, I'm towing a small camper to south Jersey this July for vacation with it.

I look forward to all the fun on here!

Hello! 👋 Nice half a truck you got there! Hopefully your rust issues are workable!

Nevermind! I remember it! I'll be messaging admin to resolve issue.

Bruh, you just remembered a password from 15 years ago?
Yes, I looked up what I thought my username used to be, found it. Then randomly guessed the password and got it first try. My karma is used up for this decade......

I wonder why my old account doesn't show the veteran tag like the newer one?

Done that rust repair job. I hope yours goes better than mine did. Once I removed the back half of the frame, turns out the "horns" it attached to were also shot along with the crossmember nearest to the back of the cab which I also replaced. Then that led to more cutting and grinding/welding and the passenger side ended up a degree or two off and now the rear of the truck looks unlevel. lol

Drives straight as an arrow though so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Yes indeed

Yeah, fortunately for me the rust almost stops at that crossmember, the frame from the cab forward looks great.

It's like the tail was kept perfectly preserved in the dead sea for a few millenia

I have spent enough time in wellsboro to know that the lamb steak at The Steak House (across from the Penn Wells) is served with a variety of mint jelly that I'm certain does not exist anywhere else on earth.

Ugh, went there with my family and all our food sucked (was $290 too). Go to the Mexican place, fresh chips and good food. Best Mexican within 50 miles lol.

*Note: mint jelly there was odd, but interesting...
