yeah i just need the part that connects to the pin on the throttle cable, the original feedback carb just used a nut and bolt to secure it and it seems like the ones im shopping for use that pin style with the kickdown.I would see how much the cable moves then find a spot on the throttle arm that moves basically the same distance. Then see if any holes line up. Remove the stock pin (whatever it's called) if necessary and install the required end. Autoparts place may have what you need or hit up a hotrod shop.
Yes that would work theoretically, but im trying to do it without modifications, proper installation. I know theres adapters to run the pin style connector but i dont know what kind, i did also buy the throttle return springs for a safety measure, to add onto the excisting linkage. (Should also make throttle pedal more stiffIf you have a tap you could tap a hole on the carb throttle of the right size for a bolt that goes thru the hole in your cable end. Maybe 1/4" or 5/16"? Run the bolt thru the cable end first and use a jam nut on the throttle side.
