Are junkyards dying out?

@cmcolfax , people are fricking disgusting. I worked at an auto auction and had to tag more than one vehicle as a biohazard.
True story.

My buddy said the same thing... It's amazing how filthy and disgusting people let their vehicles get, it's a reflection of how filthy and disgusting they are!
Even if I cut some slack for it being a nearly 30-year-old vehicle in a junkyard, the grossness didn't come from that.

I've been a career Firefighter Medic for almost 20 years, I've seen some that have had to be tagged like that when they leave a scene.
And I've seen vehicles in the junkyard that I won't touch... Because I have a pretty good idea what happened to/in them.

Speaking of center consoles… I may end up having to build a new center console for my green Ranger. I’m finding that not everything is going to fit. I’m not sure I want to cut this one apart to modify it when I was the one to build it
Is it you that I owe pictures of my rubber floor laid out on my trailer to see and measure where cuts need to be made for carpet installation?

Or is that someone else?

I guess I should go find the comment where I promised them... 👀

Don’t think it’s me, I’ve never replaced a carpet/rubber floor yet. If I can ever get to fixing my 88 I will though.

I mentioned my center console because when I originally put it together some people were interested if I could provide patterns or a console. I have my original patterns still and I never finished the console. I decided to try and finish the console while I’m fixing other stuff on the truck but some of the things I decided to do aren’t going to work without major modifications and I’d rather just build another since I have the patterns so when I do that, my original may go up for whoever wants it.
