300 Inline 6 Drift Truck - Pic Heavy

Get the cheapest, widest carbon fiber spoiler you can off of eBay and fab your own uprights that bolt to the very rear of the frame and put the spoiler a foot or so above cab height..
And a set of trailer fenders.

With an old lawn mower trailer made to fit in the middle? It'd be just enough room for a fuel cell...

Here is some of the examples ive been lookin at

Build it of old industrial guard rail or something equally heavy for increased traction. Thought that might be the opposite of what you want for a drift truck...

added 2 support bars the the rear of the cage before i got rained out. got a lot more freedom since im not using the stock bed.

I don't think any sanctioning body will pass a joint in the tube.
Also its best to land the down bars where the suspension joins the frame.
I don't see any need for the orange bars.

the orange bars are going to be used for mounting the radiator.

ur right but im not going to use the truck in any official events. im using it kinda like a large street legal gokart or dunebuggy. the only events it will be going to are drift events and they really only care about not having fluid leaks.

Rule books are the main reason people street race in my opinion

Installed half of the front suspension and decided to shorten the rear frame rails an additional 9 inches.

lol its going in the rear behind the cab. im going with a 10 gallon aluminum tank from ebay and a smaller slosh box under the cab. its goin to be a tight fit so i decided to not add a x support on the rear down bars on the roll cage so i can have easy access. still dont know where im goin to mount the battery yet though

Ive been working the truck and today I finally remembered to take some progress pics. Made a rear bumper out of some scrap 2 1/2 exhaust tube and fence post but i still have a way to mount the tail lights. And i started working on the firewall.

use the bed side skins.

did some work on the transmission tunnel. I tried to make it big as possible without sacrificing too much leg room. that way it will be easier to work on the engine and make future engine swaps alot easier.
