Anyone need a duraspark distributor?

I don't need one (I hope), but I think it's worth pointing out that a review for this item from this seller states that it works in their '84 BII 2.8 V6 and it was also within the past month. It's a Rally brand distributor according to the listing.

I didnt read the reviews but i seen its atleast a duraspark style in the pic...says its good for pintos and mustang 2s back to 75. Wondering if he found a bunch of them laying on a pallet in some storeroom somewhere where they had been for 10+ years

Is there a consensus on the quality of Rally? I know Cardone seems to have a mediocre reputation.

So... did you install it and it works well?

I'd like to sticky this for future reference or add it to the library.

Uncle Gump is spot on.

We need to know, we must know. It is your destiny to tell us if they work or not.

All cheesy lines aside, I think it's fair to say some of us would be thinking that it would be smart to acquire one of these for a backup one day, if they work just fine.

No I haven't. Its running too well to mess with it. It is in safe keeping for now. But I knew they were hard to find, so I snatched it.

This is on point too. What do we do when the sources are totally dried up? Well, even the Chinesium looks inviting at that point.

The link goes to an eBay seller that is out of stock. He doesnt say if any are coming in for the future.

What's the consensus on this ebay distributor? Found this one also that says it fits. The picture looks wrong, but it may just be an example picture. Its cheaper too.

And another

For what it's worth, I also found this...

The "About Us" section implies it's a Canadian "Health & Wellness" site for weight loss and whatnot.
Against my better judgement, I bit the bullet to guinea pig it.
Lo and behold the shipment origin is China from a non-coastal heavy industrial estate.

I'll report back with findings.
