'93 ranger non power steering seems stiff.

My '93 Splash had power steering and this '93 XL just seems stiffer than it should be....
Anything to check to maybe ease up the steering? Greasefittings, other lube points? It's pretty rusty under there.....

I was a bit shocked to find NO POWER STEERING PUMP...but that's ok. My '68 F-250 plow truck is manual and it's a workout.
 
Pump the tires up to the max listed on the sidewall of the tire. That will help tremendously.
 
While it will help, gotta be careful of not causing excessive tire wear. Might wanna play with it to find a happy medium.

True, if they are wide. If they are stock narrow it usually only causes a rougher ride. If he has wide tires on it, that is part of his problem also.
