$9,000 (SOLD!)

Truck is located in Sachse, Texas.
I’ve owned this truck since 2016 and drove it everyday. It’s been the most dependable vehicle I’ve ever owned. I swapped in the 5.0 right away and built this truck for the daily commute. I recently retired it and installed a fresh 5.0 that now has 3k miles on it and it’s happy! Great truck in FANTASTIC shape.

It started life as a 3.0 Auto 4x4 XLT and is now 5.0 Auto 2wd, but I still have all the 4wd parts. Factory 4:10 geared. It could easily be 4x4 again. Updated front facia and seats. It’s factory fresh with the only aftermarket part being the flowmaster muffler. Perfect seats, dual electric fans, cold AC, cruise, tilt and a Bluetooth stereo.

I have extensive records and pictures. Clean Texas title. I could’ve sold it a hundred times over the years, always caught peoples attention.
Come get it!

I also have a Mazda B4000 for sale

Sounds like a great truck. Please list the location so people can figure out how interested they are and to satisfy forum rules for sale ads.

Thank you.

Looks like a real nice truck, Glws!

I've already got one, but for those interested...

What year model is the truck, and What year model was the donor drivetrain?

Both could be important information for someone interested that lives in an inspection area/state. Generally speaking the rules stay that the donor for the engine swap has to be same year or newer and the newest factory 5.0 was 2000 or 2001. Grill says 2004+, but other details make me think older and face lifted. Nothing wrong with a facelift, planning it for my 99, but not knowing could drive off some interested parties.

Yeah my bad, I left out a lot.

Truck is a 2000 4x4 XLT
VIN: 1FTZR15V2YPB30274

Donor Explorer was also a 2000. Keys, pats, computer and lock cylinders all installed.
All factory parts present, including complete Y pipe, minus rear cats. No hacking, no CEL, no issues.
I use the larger 2 core radiator because it’s Texas. Electric fans are from a 2000 contour/cougar. One is on a thermostatic relay, one is a manual switch in the cab. I only ran two with the AC on hot summer days. I still have original fan and clutch with shroud I can install if folks prefer a manual fan setup.
Front facia is from 2006 and up.

This isn’t my first swap, I’m an old Ford technician from last century and when I moved to the parts department I used this truck to visit my clients, usually loaded down. It was perfect for the job. Factory Motorcraft parts were always used when possible, I’d find them.

The front differential is still present as well as axles. It is factory 4:10 geared. I have the factory transfer case and the Advanced Adapters tail housing/output shaft I can include. I never installed them because I already have a 4wd and the 2wd transmission currently in it operates perfectly so I couldn’t bring myself to tear it down.

I’ll include the original 1354 transfer case, the Advanced Adapters tail shaft adapter and output shaft for 4wd conversion, and a set of Ford 3:73 ring and pinion gears if you so desire.

Dang...you do nice work. Wish I had the cash.

Thank you! Price is always negotiable.

Would you be interested in trading, for produce, livestock or unruly children?

Just kidding; that is really a nice truck with a well-done swap. Good luck with the sale!

I read *ugly* children at first lol.

I need glasses, and a nap.

If I only had the extra $$$, I would fly down and drive this back to Montana.
Damn nice truck!

Thank you! It’s waiting for you and it will make the drive back. I’ll gladly offer a generous military discount 🫡
