What did YOU do today?

Picked up a winters worth (and one tornado warning but no tornado) of fallen limbs from the yard. Filled my yard wagon pretty ful, the vast majority coming from a single tree. This was all in between monsoon rainshowers.

You should see the sticks in my swamp… you’d need a bigger cart… I haven’t even tried slogging through the mud to clean it up yet

Between all the rain & it being her birthday weekend (tomorrow’s THE day) Im not getting much done, My daughter has her birthday fri the 11th so Did a couple online things for her, just by chance I ran into her today in town. Very unexpected since she lives a good 40 miles away now. Expensive weekend & no tractor parts were involved! 🤣

Man, try cutting down a few trees and ripping out 2/3 of the bushes in the yard.

I picked up various types and styles of oils and filters for the three vehicles. Even though the Escape is new to us, it has about 83,000 miles on it and I'm taking the approach that none of the fluids have been changed, other than the oil. Looking at videos on how the change the rear differential and PTU gear oil, I'm nearly 100% positive neither one of those have ever been done. The transmission is much easier but not many people ever bother to change the fluid and filter on them. So, I have some learning to do on a new to me vehicle.

I cut my fridge in half

Yeah...

I wanna know too.

Sunday was a busy day. I picked up a Captain's style bed for Jessica's daughter and put it together. Reconfigure the trailer so the RTT can get stored on it again. That way, the garage can get freed up for the fiberglass cap on the 2019 can be stored. Fought with fiberglass cap and it's associated wiring. Finally got it off the truck and stored in the garage. And got the Datin Fab Canvas Cage adjusted and installed on the 2019.

you try doing crap with one hand. The neighbor and his buddy came over to help me..

I'm gonna be good and not make jokes about this hehe

Replaced the intake manifold of a 2003 crown Vic for the friend of a friend yesterday. Mechanical quoted him $1500 and he couldn’t afford that. Took me 5 hours but I didn’t have anything else going on.
