For Sale 1987 Super Cab Roller. $1000

[1987 Ranger]

As I wrote in my intro, It's time to let her go. I've owned this truck since new. In fact, I special ordered it from the factory. It was a great truck for several years until a water pump failure blew the engine. Since then, I've held onto it hoping to get around to doing a V8 swap on it. Unfortunately, life got in the way and it never happened. Now, I'll be moving in the next few months and feel I won't have the time, energy or space for it anymore. It's currently "non-opped" and has been buried in my garage for almost 30 years serving as another shelf. I can't provide pics until I get some of the clutter around it cleared. I would really prefer to see it go to someone who who will revive it instead of sending it to the crusher. Here are some of the details.

It WAS a 2.9L V6 and 5 speed manual.
It has no engine or trans.
Super Cab
XLT trim
Blue interior with cloth split bench seat
Factory dual tanks
3.73 traction lok rear end.
Also has:
Stockland fiberglass shell
Penda-liner bed liner
15 inch aftermarket aluminum wheels

I also have a collection of parts that I've accumulated for this project. I'll post them for sale in the appropriate section at a later time. First, I want to see if there's interest in the truck. I've posted it for sale in the local Craigslist as well.

to bad you can't just drop another 2.9 and trans in and be good to go

For the last couple years or so, I've considered that option. I've searched here, Craigslist, all the Pick-A-Part websites south of Fresno, CA as well as Ebay but haven't found anything suitable.

Not sure what a "step deck" is, but it has wheels and could be rolled onto a trailer.

Click on the person's forum name. A pop up with come up and one of the buttons say "start conversation" that will get you into the DM section for you to type your message and send it.

I created a new user group called 'Forum Member'. All of the members were in a group called 'Registered'. After making 10 posts, the user is automatically promoted from the user group 'Registered' to the user group 'Forum Member'. The user group Registered does not have permissions to send private messages to people, the user group 'Forum Member' does.

This is either going to work, or a bunch of people are about to get pissed off because their forum permissions aren't working right.

The OP will need to get to 10 posts before he/she/it can use the PM functions.
